I am a leaper by nature. There are two types of people out there. Leapers and perfectionist. Leapers jump right away while perfectionists takes the time to make sure that the condition is perfect in every way before taking action. The main advantage of leapers is our spontaneity and jump on opportunities right away. I entered the draw to be part of Make Your Dream Trip a reality and for some reason, my gut feeling told me that I was going to be part of that wonderful class.
Fast forward two weeks before the first day of the lessons, I get an email from Creative Live Studios saying that I was picked to be part of the class.
I was THRILLED! I immediately called all my co-workers to see if they can take my shift at work and after a week, I got those days off and ready to set off on another adventure!
Being in Make Your Dream Trip a Reality for me was already a dream trip made a reality. I met a ton of really cool people and met Chris Guillebeau, one of my favorite authors out there! I’ve read all three of his books and definitely follow in his footsteps and see him as my mentor from afar. I was glad to have met him and the rest of the live studio audience members and the Creative Live team. I also met Stephanie Zito who is one of the nicest people I have ever met. You can just tell she is real and she really just wants to help people realize their dreams.
One thing that I remember going to that event was that I really felt that I belonged. It was one of those rare moments in life that you meet people that are on the same journey as you and instead of being skeptical of your plans, they fully embraced the travel hacking culture. Saying that the whole trip is amazing is truly an understatement!
Here are some pictures from the event!

Good times!

Good blog post…glad to see you taking the blog leap! You hit the nail right on the head when you said, “One thing that I remember going to that event was that I really felt that I belonged. It was one of those rare moments in life that you meet people that are on the same journey as you and instead of being skeptical of your plans, they fully embraced the travel hacking culture.” Those were my feelings too. It clearly was an unusual group.
