AMEX Hilton Business USA Review (Canadian Perspective)

The AMEX Hilton Business credit card in the United States is the second American credit card I’ve ever gotten. And I was quite happy with the amount of points I’ve earned from the credit card. Hilton points are great for those who wants to stay at a bucket list hotel. A lot of people will definitely use their Hilton points to stay at the Maldives or Bora Bora overwater bungalow. That’s where I plan on using mine which is at the Hilton in Bora Bora.

The AMEX Hilton Business card has a tendency to give you a lot of points as well which makes redeeming for those dream hotel stays very much possible.

AMEX Hilton Business

The current AMEX Hilton Business promotion will earn you 130,000 Hilton points after spending $3000 USD in your first 3 months. The card also has an annual fee of $95 USD.

Other perks the AMEX Hilton Business comes with are:

  • 12x Hilton points for every $1 spent at Hilton Hotels
  • 6x Hilton points for every $1 spent at US restaurants
  • 3x Hilton points for all other purchases
  • 10 Priority Pass visits each year

I think that for the $95 USD annual fee, getting the 130,000 Hilton points and the 10 priority pass visits each year is a great deal. At least, for the first year. After the first year, it’s debatable if you should keep the card or not since this credit card doesn’t give you an anniversary free night certificate.

While this credit card is amazing, I think the AMEX Marriott Bonvoy Business has it beat. That is why, I ended up cancelling this card in favour of that other US AMEX business credit card. I will go into detail why on the next article when I review the AMEX Marriott Bonvoy Business credit card.
