The Four No Annual Fee Aeroplan Credit Cards

CIBC Aeroplan Visa Infinite

The CIBC Aeroplan Visa Infinite card is first year free. The $139 annual fee is waived for the first year. You will also learn 10,000 Aeroplan points after your first purchase. Then, you will earn another 10,000 Aeroplan points and a buddy pass after spending $1000 within your first four statement periods. In the most recent update, buddy pass can now be converted to 30,000 Aeroplan points.

TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite

AMEX Gold CPA

The AMEX Gold with CPA gives you a $150 statement credit and 25,000 MR points after hitting the minimum spend requirements requirements of $1500 within your first 3 months. The statement credit will offset the $150 annual fee for the first year. Do keep in mind that you need the CPA code to get this card (I don’t have it).

AMEX Business Gold CPA

The AMEX Business Gold with CPA gives you a $149 statement credit and 40,000 MR points after hitting the minimum spend requirements requirements of $5,000 within your first 3 months. The statement credit will offset the $150 annual fee for the first year. You need the CPA code to get this card (I don’t have it).

Conclusion

Most people should be able to get the TD or CIBC Aeroplan Visa Infinite credit cards on this list. However, the AMEX cards do have more hoops you need to jump through. If you are not part of CPA, then you might not be able to get the two AMEX cards. Also, if you’ve previously held either AMEX cards, you won’t get the points. Despite the slimmer pickings for no annual fee Aeroplan credit cards, they do exist.
