In this blog post, I will be doing a complete TD Aeroplan Visa Business review to see who is best suited to get this credit card in Canada. One of the reasons I am doing a review of this card right now is because of the amazing deal that’s expiring on June 1, 2020.
I have no affiliation with TD or this credit card.

One of the biggest perks for the TD Aeroplan Visa Business credit card is the fact that you can earn 45,000 Aeroplan miles as a signup bonus and there’s no annual fee for the first year. Basically, you get 20,000 Aeroplan miles after your first purchase. Next, you will get another 20,000 Aeroplan miles after spending $5000 within 90 days of card approval. Finally, you will get 5,000 Aeroplan miles after signing up for TD e-statements as shown below:

This promotion of the first year annual fee waived ends on June 1, 2020. However, if you miss the current promotion, I’ve seen them offer it every 1-2 years so you’ll most likely get another chance in the future.
Other perks for this card include:
- Earn 1.5 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 spent on travel and gas purchases
- Earn $1 for all other purchases
- Double the Aeroplan Miles earned when you present your Aeroplan Membership Card at over 150 Aeroplan brands nad 120 online retailers via the Aeroplan eStore. Make sure to pay with your TD Aeroplan Visa Business card to get double the miles.
The biggest barrier to getting this credit card is you do need a business number to apply. If you don’t have a business number already, you can get one from a company called Ownr. I’ve personally never used the company since I have a business number already. However, I do know quite a few people that have used the company. Until May 31, 2020, if you use this referral link, you can get $50 off getting your business number.
You’ll also need to apply in branch or over the phone to get this credit card.
I personally applied for this credit card back in April and I didn’t receive the card until 4 weeks later. Thankfully, the representative warned me of this because of the COVID-19 situation. In my opinion, if you know you can hit the minimum spend requirements, then I think this is a must-get for Canadians who love travelling. 45,000 Aeroplan miles and no annual fee is a fantastic offer that cannot be missed!
