I made a small profit in the month of August thanks to taking advantage of a Udemy promotion. In the promotion, if we completed a course before June 30th, we would get an additional bonus $50 USD. So, I took advantage of this promotion and completed a course as soon as I could and managed to secure the bonus.

Looking in hindsight, I probably need to tweak that specific Udemy course because the quantity of information could be better. I could have also polished the marketing better because I just did the bare bone basic in order to qualify for the promotion.

The good thing is, you can edit courses in Udemy. Therefore, as soon as I finish my goal of making 15 Udemy courses before the end of 2018, I will definitely edit the 5th Udemy course that I made to make it more lucrative to potential students.

It was definitely hard getting quality work done in August because I am working so much shifts at my day job. Moving forward, I freed up some time so I can focus more on making Udemy courses and eventually a steady stream of YouTube videos for my travel niche. I also plan on building up another YouTube channel on another interest of mine. My goal is to run two YouTube channel at once focusing on making three videos per week.
