Free Air Berlin Silver Status and One World Ruby Status for 4 Months

Right now, for a limited time only, you can get free Air Berlin Silver Status. You will also receive One World Ruby Status for the next four months along with the Air Berlin Silver status. This offer ends November 30, 2016 so I recommend you get it as soon as possible.

Get the silver status here.

Because the Air Berlin website is in German, be sure to use your smart phone or tablet to automatically translate the website to English.

Why should you get Air Berlin Silver status if you don’t fly on this carrier?

The main reason you’ll want to get the silver status is to do a status match with a Star Alliance carrier! For example, if you frequently fly on Air Canada, you can simply do a status match using your Silver status.

Since the silver status is one of the lower tier status, you will most likely get a matching lower tier status with Air Canada (or other Star Alliance carrier such as United Airlines). Some perk you can expect to receive are free checked bags and priority airport check-in.

Get your silver status now and start flying with an extra perk! If you plan on building up your airline elite status, this is your perfect chance to get a head start. I have personally signed up and have gotten the silver status today. Once I figure out which airline I should status match with, I can start my journey to building up my airline elite status. I will most likely do the status matching in January so I can enjoy the elite status perk much longer.

  1. Well I can’t seem to see where you can select English on their page Kendrick! Can you help me with that please and much appreciated!

    1. Your mobile phone or tablet should create an option to auto-translate the page, that’s what happened to me. There’s no actual button to select English unfortunately…

        1. The top right corner should have a picture of a German flag, I tried that method and it asked me which country I’m from and what language. I selected English and it translated the text no problem. 🙂

  2. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to translate to english. Im using my iphone but I don’t see language options on the site anywhere Kendrick! Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

  3. Hi Kendrick, how long did it take you to get the silver status? I signed up about a week ago for this and just logged in now and i’m still only a classic member…. let me know thanks!

    1. Hi Jacky, great question. They haven’t given me the silver status yet; though, when I try signing up for it, they said I’ve already done so. I’m not sure how long the wait is but I will send them an email soon and ask what is the status.

    1. Hi Jacky,

I apologize for not getting back sooner. I have yet to check my account but it doesn’t look like I see any status update/change. I’m stuck in countries with poor internet access and haven’t been able to contact Air Berlin. Have you emailed them and see if they can fix it for you?
