Sedona, Arizona. You often browse through pictures online, of must see places in the world, and it is impossible not to see Sedona as part of the list.
After seeing all the awesome pictures online of Sedona, I immediately made a pact with myself and Karen that one day, we will definitely visit this place.
Upon arriving into town, my road trip crew were immediately taken aback at the vibe of the surrounding area. The city has a peaceful feel to it. It is also surrounded by beautiful red rocks, and hills. You will immediately feel relaxed the moment you enter town.
Arriving in town
We checked in Bell Rock Inn and were immediately impressed by our accommodation. The reception was friendly and the accommodation was impressive.
After checking in, we were famished and checked out a local Thai restaurant called Tara Thai. We ordered some sweet and sour dish, Pad Thai and a vegetarian dish. After having a feast, we were impressed by the delicious food and ate there again the very next day.
Happy and satisfied after our meal
The next day, my sister’s went biking around town while Karen and myself took some time to get some rest. Karen and myself just completed the Zion Narrows hike prior to going to Sedona and we were still feeling the soreness and fatigue from that brutal experience.

For me, Sedona is one of those places that I’ve visited where I thought to myself, “I wish I had more time to stay here, I will definitely come back.” As I travel the world more and more, I start to discover places that really resonate with me. Sedona is one of those places and I will definitely come back and possibly even live there for parts of the year. I like this city that much!
