Hey guys, I just returned back to Vancouver after an epic adventure of a holiday.
The motivation Monday video today was filmed in Napali Coast in Kauai Hawaii. As you can see, I look really ragged and filthy. That’s because the Kalalau hike is the hardest hike I have ever done and I was barely alive when I reached Kalalau beach. More on that story later.
In this video, I discuss the difference between living a structured life and living an unstructured life.
Kalalau beach is a hidden world where people hike and camp to. There are actual people that live there during the whole year and they are very primitive in the sense that they do whatever they feel like doing. They sleep, wake up, and gather food from the valley whenever they want to. It’s a very primitive way of living.
My sisters, Karen, and I have gotten the opportunity to live their lifestyle and noticed that the life in the Napali Coast is very unstructured. You pretty much go with the flow of nature and wake up when the sun goes up and go to bed when the sun goes down. You take an afternoon nap when the sun is blaring and scorching and pretty much go with the flow with this lifestyle as the day goes by.
Since getting the opportunity to live this kind of lifestyle, I started to envy the locals because it is a very liberating life. You don’t answer to anyone. You do whatever you want, whenever you want. Everyone in this place has respect for each other because arriving to this place is a very difficult task that most people will never experience in their life.
The video I made is very raw and I hope you guys enjoy it!
