Cheakamus Lake is one of the easier hikes here in B.C. Canada. It’s located right beside Whistler.
The drive to the trailhead is quite long and I highly suggest you bring a vehicle that’s a little bit higher up because the road is bumpy and may damage your vehicle.
The hike itself is not too difficult. I would like to warn those who attempt this hike, there is quite a lot of mosquitoes and flies in the area. It would be wise to bring insect repellent with you.
The area is also a popular for camping and there is quite a few camping spots available.
If you plan on getting started on hiking and you are in the Vancouver/Whistler area, do check out Cheakamus Lake.
